Lake Havasu Seaplane primarily offers instruction for single engine seaplane ratings for private and commercial pilots. We offer Biennial flight reviews. |

| The single engine seaplane course: |
| |
- Ground school including book and DVD Course
- Flight instruction (typically 7-8 hours)
- Checkride (typically 1 1/2 hours)
- Matted 8 x 10 photograph

| Generally the course is a 2 day course. |

| (Day one) Completion of paperwork and ground school |
| |
| (Day two) Flying and checkride |
| |
| The complete course is $1,425.00. |
| |
| Check ride is separate at $350.00 |
| |
| Dual instruction is $190.00 per hour |
| |
| Flights are dependent on weather conditions. |

- Wind not in excess of 12 knots or temperature over 93 degrees
- One (1) passenger only on ride (rides can be divided by customer)

| Q. What do I need to bring? |
| A. Bring your own headset, log book, medical certificate, photo ID, and Pilots license. |
| Q. Is the airplane for rent? |
| A. No, due to insurance requirement |
| Q. What year is the plane? |
| A. 1977 Cessna 172 with a 180 horsepower Lycoming engine, including Powerflow Exhaust System. |
| Q. What kind of floats? |
| A. New Baumann amphibious floats. |
| Q. How soon can I get a rating? |
| A. Preferably at least a weeks notice. |
| Q. How soon can I take an intro ride? |
| A. Preferably a days notice. |
| Q. Where are you located? |
| A. Lake Havasu Municipal Airport inside Desert Skies FBO. |
| Q. Who gives instruction? |
| A. Maurice (Moe) Martin, owner/instructor. |
| Q. Does the designee work for you? |
| A. No |
| Q. How much time on the plane? |
| A. 3300 + total time, 180 conversion = 600 hours |
| Q. Does this rating substitute for a bi-annual flight review? |
| A. Yes. |
